CBCC Young Investigators Research Awards Program Registration

The Canadian Breast Cancer Conference (CBCC) is a medical education conference that takes place every two years in Whistler, BC. The next CBCC will take place on January 16 & 17, 2026 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Whistler, BC. CBCC brings together medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons and allied health professionals to review the latest developments in diagnosis and the management of breast cancer.

This year we will be hosting the CBCC Young Investigators Research Awards Program taking place during the welcome reception on Friday, Jan 16th, 2026.

We invite all fellows and residents to submit an abstract application to the CBCC Young Investigators Program.

The Submission Deadline is Friday, November 7th, 2025
Decisions will be made the following week, by Friday November 14th, 2025.

All selected applicants will be asked to present a poster of original research (required for attendance). Please note that previously submitted research will not be accepted.

Poster judging will take place at the CBCC welcome reception on Friday, Jan 16th. The prize for the best research poster will be presented at the meeting on Saturday, Jan 17th.

CBCC Young Investigators Research Program attendees must also attend the CBCC main conference.

For selected applicants, registration for CBCC will be waived and two nights shared accommodation at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler will be included for all attending fellows and residents. To enable as many attendees as possible, shared accommodation is required for residents. For fellows, we will try our best to provide a private room, subject to availability.
